Job Description:Priority: & amp nbsp To assist the company in acquiring new customers Sell additional products or services to existing ones Basically to expand and diversify the organizations clientele Primary Responsibilities: Identify new sales leads Client Retention Management and Research Day-to-Day duties: For Business Development Researching organizations [K-12 segment schools] and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels Participate in pricing the solution/service Set up meetings between client decision makers and company' s practice leaders/Principals Pitching products and services Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the clients needs, concerns, and objectives Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events For Client Retention Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the & amp nbsp company' s products Developing quotes and proposals Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person Analyzing and creating a need for new products and services to enhance existing relationships Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers For Management and Research Submit weekly progress reports and maintain accuracy of the data Forecast sales targets and ensure that they are met by the team Track and monitor existing deals Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills Write reports and provide feedback to upper management about what is and is not working
