Position Overview: Room to Read Indias fundraising team has experienced tremendous growth in the past few years. We are seeking a new team member who can provide support to our fundraising office with donor communications and grant administration support. The Fundraising Operations Associate will work closely with and report to the India Lead, Corporations and Foundations. The position is based in Mumbai. Duties & amp amp Responsibilities: The main responsibility of this position is to manage the day-to-day internal operations for the Mumbai fundraising team. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Systematize and manage the annual calendar for submission of proposals, reports, financial reports and stewardship communications. Our operations are primarily based in the Salesforce database& amp nbsp Liaise with various teams, both domestic and international to gather information required for compiling reports to further steward our donors, donor communications and proposal submissions& amp nbsp Work with Room to Read Indias program and accounting teams to collect information and prepare grant agreements for India-specific grants The candidate will support the Development Managers in tracking all the financial and narrative report timelines and donation payment timeline based on the donor MoUs Manage entry of all incoming revenue and ensure receipting and dispatch for each gift in a timely manner Support the team in allocating projects for specific grants. This takes place in our Salesforce database& amp nbsp Support India team in proposal submissions, documentation processing and marketing presentations on an as needed basis Represent Room to Read at NGO exhibitions, trade fairs and conferences to bring more visibility to our work Support team at employee engagement and fundraising events in companies Work with the Marketing & amp amp Communication team and manage and update the India donor data base efficiently and send out periodic monthly emails through RtRs email systems and manage yearly campaign Support the Mumbai based Fundraising office in all administrative tasks related to the office, which includes procurement of stationery, internet, couriers etc. Qualifications: Bachelors degree with minimum two to three years work experience, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented global or regional organization Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite of products and some experience with databases. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Experience in written donor communications, proposal writing, reports & amp amp grants administration Detail and Results oriented Flexibility and ability to multi-task and the drive to do more with less Prior success working closely and building relationships with diverse groups of people.
