Standalone Regulatory Reporting Department Description: Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) provides & quot best in class& quot reporting to both our internal and external clients. Best in class reporting would include informative, accurate, reliable and timely financial information that can be used by management to make sound financial decisions for analysts to assess the Firm s financial position investors to make informed decisions and regulators to supervise and examine us appropriately. Our goal is to continuously improve the reporting process through enhancements to the control environment and to improve the operating model. The Financial Reporting team also works closely with the businesses to design and implement the accounting and reporting for mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, both internal (i.e. showing impact on the firms results) and external, as well as play a key role in the implementation of new accounting standards and new reporting requirements. Associate Roles and Responsibilities: This role in CFR s Standalone Regulatory Reporting provides a unique opportunity to interact with multiple lines of business and corporate groups and learn about a variety of products and services offered across the firm and how these affect the financial statements of the firm in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment. The individual will be responsible for aggregating data of various regulatory submission like FR2314, FR Y- 11, FFIEC030, FR2028/ FR2835 BE- 125/ BE185, BE577..etc The candidate will also be responsible for continuing to enhance the controls and efficiency over the financial reporting processes which may include transitioning to target data sources and preparing work paper binders in accordance with Sarbanes- Oxley 404 documentation standards. This role requires the individual to: Manage the data aggregation for various FED reports Understand and clearly communicate data collection requirements to the lines of businesses Participate in various aspects for the production of aggregate firm wide data for monthly, quarterly and annual external disclosures as applicable Managing relationships with the Lines of Business as well as with CFR teams that are responsible for the external reporting of the firm wide data Qualifications and skill sets: Strong accounting background CA with 2 years experience. Excellent computer skills especially MS excel Strong control/ documentation background Strong communications skills Ability to work on multiple priorities Understanding of Axiom application will be added advantage.
